Pangolin Voyager Houseboat

Pangolin Voyager Houseboat

Overview

Pangolin Voyager Houseboat

Minimum of 3 nights

On request

The NEW Pangolin Voyager houseboat has taken nearly two years to complete from conception to launch and is a replacement for the much-loved original Pangolin Voyager that we bought in 2015. The new boat was constructed in Namibia (specifically in Windhoek by ESB) and assembled on the banks of The Zambezi before being brought to The Chobe.

With a blank canvas, it allowed us to let our imaginations run wild with possibilities, and we are now the proud operators of the first solar-powered all-aluminium houseboat on the continent, and probably the world.

The houseboat features five identical cabins, each of which can be configured with either double or twin beds. Each has an en-suite shower and toilet as well as air conditioning. There are plenty of plug points for charging batteries and devices. The near floor-to-ceiling windows are fitted with mosquito nets, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the wilderness as you sleep at night.

Alongside the Pangolin Voyager we have an eight-seater photo boat along with another tender boat for general game viewing and transfers. Each of the seats on the photo boat have a detachable arm and camera gimbal and can rotate 360 degrees. In addition to photography and game viewing we also offer the opportunity to visit a local village where most of the crew come from.
