Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and overnight at your preferred choice of accommodation. This allows you time to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. For guests staying at Eka Hotel – Nairobi, our guide will collect you early the next morning.
Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
After an early pick-up, we depart by road for Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in and enjoy lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
In the afternoon, we head out on our first game drive, exploring Amboseli’s diverse landscapes and remarkable wildlife. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Days 3–6: Explore Amboseli National Park
From Day 3 to Day 6, you will enjoy daily game drives through Amboseli National Park, an area famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The schedule remains flexible, depending on sightings and weather conditions. You may return to the lodge for meals; however, we can also remain out in the park with packed meals to maximise photographic and wildlife viewing opportunities. This flexibility is one of the key advantages of traveling on a private safari with a highly respected guide who has many years of experience in the area.
Day 7: Travel to Kembu Cottages, Naivasha
We depart Amboseli and drive to Kembu Cottages in Naivasha. After checking in, you may choose to relax, unwind, or take a leisurely walk around the farm.
There is abundant birdlife, including a colony of bee-eaters, as well as chameleons that can often be seen between the gardens and trees. You may also wish to visit the Kenana Knitters, a community project on the property. Lunch and dinner will be served at Kembu Cottages.
Day 8: Full Day at Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, our guide collects you for a full-day excursion to Lake Nakuru. A packed breakfast and lunch will be provided, allowing you to spend more time exploring the park’s wildlife-rich environment.
In the evening, return to Kembu Cottages for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 9: Departure
On the final day, our guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of an unforgettable safari experience.
